How Cerma STM-3 Work

Clean, Restore, Lubricate and Protect

Cerma STM-3 takes a 4-prong approach to increasing engine performance and enhancing vehicle.  Performance in any engine is dependent on the effectiveness of the lubrication.  The better the lubrication works, the  better an engine can perform to its maximum potential. The areas in which Cerma STM-3 increases engine lubrication are:

1.  CLEAN:  Removes “DIRT” inside the engine

2.  RESTORE:  Restore engine to peak performance

3.  LUBRICATE:  Increases the LUBRICATION of the entire engine

4.  PROTECT:  Worlds only SELF-CLEANING engine catalyst

Clean:  Cerma STM-3 removes carbon deposits, lacquer build up and dirt accumulation, which occurs when oil circulating throughout the engine forms a thin, insulating layer on the walls of the engine, thereby reducing engine efficiency and performance.  Dirt accumulation is caused by too much engine oil getting in the combustion chamber, usually from inefficient valve stem seals, valve guides, or piston rings.  Cerma STM-3 works as an emulsification agent, cleaning the walls inside the engine of all the accumulated carbon and lacquer, and pooling it into the engine oil when the next oil change will remove them.

Restore:  Cerma STM-3 will restore the engine to peak operational performance by reconditioning worn seals, and re-seating the piston rings.  Cerma STM-3 will also increase the oil pressure and reduce blow-by and oil consumption that have deteriorated over the life of the engine.

Lubricate:  Proper lubrication is continuously necessary for the engine to run at peak performance.  Oil does not stay in any part of the engine, it continues to flow through the entire system.  Cerma STM-3 delivers greater lubricity to the engine by allowing the oil to flow freely throughout the entire system.  In addition, Cerma STM-3 increased lubricity allows the motor to run cooler thereby increases the life of the engine, lower maintenance costs, and extend the life of the engine.

Protect:  The proprietary Cerma STM-3 formulation is made up of nano molecules forming a thin micron coating inside of the entire engine.  This coating continuously moves the motor oil through the system and constantly cleans the oil by not allowing carbon, lacquer or dirt to adhere to the engine walls.  This produces a self-cleaning system without dirt, running at maximum performance with maximum lubrication efficiency.

The Cerma STM-3 Protocol

three steps to a cleaner engine

Cerma STM-3 is a liquid catalyst engineered to improve lubrication
by creating a permanent SiC micro-coating on all metal surfaces.
Simple to use. Extraordinary results.

1

Add STM-3 Engine Treatment

Pour Cerma STM-3 Engine Treatment directly into your existing engine oil — no need to drain or change your oil first. The treatment immediately begins working with the acids and carbon already present in your engine oil.

This triggers the SiC reaction: Silicon bonds with the Carbon in the oil, creating the conditions for a Silicon Carbide micro-coating to form across every metal surface in your engine.

Important: Cerma STM-3 will not alter factory tolerances. Suitable for all gasoline and diesel engines — cars, trucks, motorcycles, fleet vehicles, marine and equipment.

2

Drive 1,500 Miles

Continue driving normally. Over the next 1,500 miles, the Cerma SiC formula bonds permanently to all metal surfaces inside your engine.

During this phase you may already notice improvements — quieter operation, smoother idle, reduced vibration. This is the SiC coating beginning to take effect as it cleans and seals engine surfaces at a micron level.

Note: You can drive longer than 1,500 miles (2,500 km) before changing oil. Simply drive until your normal oil change interval and then proceed to Step 3.

3

Switch to Cerma Motor Oil

At your next oil change, drain and switch to Cerma Motor Oil — either the CERMA 15,000 mile (24,000 km) blend or the CERMAX 30,000 mile (50,000 km) blend. Your part of the process is now complete.

Over the next 90 days of driving, the Cerma process completes on its own. Your engine reaches peak performance: more horsepower, quieter and smoother operation, improved fuel economy, and clean protection for up to 30,000 miles or 50,000 km.

Result: Clean. Restore. Lubricate. Protect. — for the life of the oil, every oil change interval, for the life of your engine.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. Step 1 of the Cerma Protocol is to add STM-3 Engine Treatment directly to your existing engine oil — no drain required. You simply continue driving for 1,500 miles (2,500 km), then change to Cerma Motor Oil at your next oil change.

Cerma STM-3 works with all gasoline and diesel engines including cars, trucks, motorcycles, semi-trucks, marine, and industrial equipment. Cerma will not alter factory tolerances and is compatible with all standard and synthetic motor oils.

The STM-3 Engine Treatment is a one-time application that creates a permanent SiC coating on all metal surfaces. It lasts for the life of the engine. You do not need to re-apply the treatment — only continue using Cerma Motor Oil for ongoing cleaning and protection.

Many users notice improvements — quieter operation, smoother idle, reduced vibration — within the first 1,500 miles (2,500 km) of the treatment phase. By the time the full Cerma process completes (approximately 90 days of driving after switching to Cerma Motor Oil), your engine will be at peak performance.

Both use the same SiC Run Clean Technology. The CERMA blend is rated for 15,000 mile oil change intervals (24,000 km). The CERMAX blend is the extended-life version, rated for 30,000 mile intervals (50,000 km). CERMAX is the best-value choice for most drivers.
